THE LITTLE DETAILS
A favorite window. A crooked ear. The flowers by the front door. That's the good stuff!

BEHIND THE BRUSH · MEET THE ARTIST
I'm the artist behind @monochromaticmad, and I have a soft spot for the little details that make a place—or a pet—feel like yours.
That's what I love about watercolor portraits. They're not just about getting every line right. They're about capturing the familiar things you notice first: a front porch, a favorite expression, a building full of memories.
If you have an idea for a piece, I'd love to hear the story behind it.
